Still burdened by the loss of his old ally and blood-brother, the Grey Knight, our hero finds himself venturing to the mountains of the North. There, he seeks to find the ancient fortress that was once inhabited by the Order of the Ashen Stag.

Now, long collapsing into ruin, the castle provides the ideal winter sojourn for our hero as he prepares for what he knows must be the inevitable confrontation with the foul necromancer, whose betrayal set all of these blood-soaked events into motion.

And although this mighty stronghold has fallen into decay, it is not entirely uninhabited. The ghosts of the entombed Ashen Knights still walk these lonely ramparts and corridors. And they are all too willing to impart their wisdom to aid our cursed hero in his quest for final, bloody revenge...
